Jai Xiong first fell in love with being in the kitchen by witnessing her mom’s constant drive and passion to perfect every recipe she creates for the family. She was in awe of the explosion of flavors and intricate details in every dish. She first started cooking at a very young age and has always been fond of experimenting with flavors and having the creative freedom to explore the different outcomes of each ingredient.
She first launched her home-based bakery under the Cottage Food Laws of Minnesota in 2014, while attending Le Cordon Bleu in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated in 2016 and also received her business certificate through Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) in 2017. After working for many years with some of the best-renowned businesses in Minnesota, such as JW Marriott and Interlachen Country Club, she took a leap of faith and officially launched her business in 2021.
